1. What is the author's attitude towards actions events?
Answer The author's attitude is he wanted to show the love between sibling.

2. Is the story humorous or tragic or frightening? Does the author want you to laugh or cry, to feel happy or sad, to experience anger or fear?
Answer The story is a bit humorous. The author wants me to feel happy with the love between sibling and want to show whether they were poor they still wanted to learn and became professional.

3. What is the author's attitude toward characters or the narrator? Does the author like or dislike, trust or mistrust the characters or the narrator?
Answer  The author's attitude toward characters. The author likes Buddy and trust in the characters. The author knew that character can become success. They use character to move on the story not the narrator.

Symbolism

1. What are some of the symbols in the story?
Answer A symbol of love between Buddy and his brother, and a symbol of his former life.

2. Are there any objects which seem to have a symbolic meaning? What are their meanings?
Answer The love between Buddy and his brother is the love that brother give to Buddy. The way Buddy's brother treated Buddy is show the way he sacrificed he chance to let Buddy learn. He wanted Buddy to finish school.

3. Do any people act as symbols in the story? What do they represent?
Answer Buddy's Brother act as symbols in this story. He presents the love that he gave to Buddy. He can be a good example for everyone.

4. Do aspects of the story's setting seem symbolic? In what way?
Answer The setting of the story does show how important Buddy's brother is. The setting shows Buddy is the main character.

5. Is one symbol used throughout the story or do the symbols change?
Answer Symbol used throughout the story. The writer showed that Buddy's brother is a good person since the story started. In the end, the writer showed that even though they were adult brother still care of Buddy.
